The $TOPIA chart lately? It’s basically a meme of the first four stages of grief: shock and denial, anger, bargaining, depression.
But hey, after that comes acceptance – then it’s an easy 100X, right?
That is, assuming HYCHAIN actually serves up something spicy for this bull run.
Abhishek Anand, the gigabrain behind HYCHAIN’s growth (who also turned IndiGG into a web3 gaming powerhouse before it got acquired), dropped a rare X post recently with a big promise: “Yeah, bro, the spice is coming.”
That’s Abhi in the Under Armour hat, holding it down in the kitchen with Ark, EROD, and Temp, going clockwise around the table:
Anyways.
Abhishek mentioned that the team’s been ramping up business development, with an emphasis on bringing top-shelf IP into the HYCHAIN ecosystem.
He pointed out how gaming is a hits-driven industry, where only a small percentage of games achieve significant success, so HYCHAIN is only onboarding games that have the potential to be in the top 1%.
Abhi stressed that, as chains become more commoditized, it’s not the underlying blockchain tech that matters most. Instead, it’s about capturing and sustaining attention with strong games, good marketing, and the ability to connect with players.
HYCHAIN’s a diamond in the rough in this regard, with an exciting pipeline of games, including new IPs and partnerships, rolling out in the coming months.
First up is Loot Legends, which Abhi believes will showcase how mobile and web3 can work together in innovative ways.
He draws a comparison to the rise of free-to-play (F2P) mobile games, which were once widely criticized but have since become a $110 billion market.
Abhi suggests that web3 gaming is following a similar trajectory and could absolutely melt faces once the overall experience and entertainment value of the games improve.
Finally, HYCHAIN has locked in a second game, which is expected to onboard a swarm of causal players to web3.
My takeaway?
While everyone bitches about the $TOPIA price and calls it a slow rug, I think HYCHAIN has parabolic run written all over it in Helvetica Neue.
Cue the colossally cliché line about buying when there’s blood in the streets, even when the blood is your own.
My best advice? Don’t let tax season hit you like a truck. Even swapping from one crypto to another is taxable, and the IRS is watching. Read my CoinLedger review and get organized before it’s too late.
